Another day, another W for the Cubbies. After a hard fought victory Monday night, the off day on Tuesday looks to have helped, as the guys picked up a huge win last night, 9-2 over division rival Cincinnati. Lackey opened up the game by giving up a run on a sacrifice fly in the top
For about 8 innings, last night was absolutely miserable for Cubs fans. It was a cold night, Lester didn’t have his best stuff, and until Grandpa Rossy singled in the bottom of the 7th, the Cubs were without a hit against Brandon Finnegan (who? Exactly.) but then, everything changed. After a Heyward single chased home
After sweeping a 2 game set in Anaheim, the Cubs made their way back to Arizona to play 4 games against the Diamondbacks. We got to compete with this Arizona team quite a bit in the Cactus League, with mixed results. The Dbacks have some of the most talented players in all of baseball on their roster.
First and foremost, LOVE the hat. Reminds me a little bit of D-Train (AKA Dontrelle Willis), but it’s actually better. See, Dontrelle had the pulled down look on lock, and when that thing got some tilt to it, the look was even stronger. But Dontrelle was missing a key ingredient: consistency. And I’m not talking

Not even sure where to start, so I’ll start by saying last night’s win kind of made me feel like this… #MONEY But in all seriousness, this was a complete performance out of the Cubbies. Arrieta pitched 7 absolutely stellar innings, allowing
You’re damn right we’re excited! Here’s a great hype video from the guys over at Sports Mockery, enjoy!
I don’t know about you, but having this guy on the hill to start the season makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Here’s Jake’s no hitter from last season against the Dodgers: Sidenote: Jake is JACKED
Great stuff from the Cubbies yesterday. Over 5 innings, Lester struck out 10, allowing only one hit. Offensively, the boys looked great also. Bryant, La Stella, and Soler all had multi-hit games, David Ross went 3 for 3 with 3 doubles and 4 RBI, and Schwarber went deep for the second time this spring. But it
