This one got off to a shaky start, and finished the same way for the Cubs, but luckily they were able to pull out a victory. Washington would start the game scoring one run in each of the first 2 innings, but Chicago came roaring back with a barrage of homers and doubles to build

For about 8 innings, last night was absolutely miserable for Cubs fans. It was a cold night, Lester didn’t have his best stuff, and until Grandpa Rossy singled in the bottom of the 7th, the Cubs were without a hit against Brandon Finnegan (who? Exactly.) but then, everything changed. After a Heyward single chased home
