There are a lot of really bad words one could use to properly describe Pittsburgh Pirates’ utility man Sean Rodriguez. For the purpose of this blog, we’re just gonna go with punk. But, rest assured, in another setting we might be throwing around some more colorful terminology.
For those of you who are scratching your head right now as to why I say this about S-Rod, let me bring you up to speed:
It all started last year in the NL Wild Card Game, where Rodriguez got into it with a Gatorade cooler…
As they mention in the commentary, this was not a new thing for Rodriguez, who had previously broken his hand on a wall inside the dugout as a member of the Tampa Bay Rays.
Then last night he was back at it again. This time, after a swing and miss, Rodriguez decided to lock eyes with Pedro Strop, and before too long the pair were exchanging words. Then, when you thought he couldn’t look like a bigger jackass, Rodriguez goes down swinging. Here’s a video of the incident. I recommend you watch with the sound off because there’s like a crying baby in the background or something.
So there you have it folks. This guy sucks. He reminds me of Rafi from The League. And on a side note, if you haven’t watched that show, do it. It’s on Netflix and Hulu. Funny, funny stuff.
